Dean and Sam bring a combined 30 years of missionary experience to conversations about missions and the church as the agent, means, and fruit of mission.

A group of men sitting and standing outdoors on a sidewalk, enjoying a conversation and laughter. One man is in the foreground seated at a table, gesturing with his hand, while others are smiling and watching, with some seated and some standing around. The setting appears casual, with motorcycles and stores in the background.

Dean Polk* and his family have spent the last 14 years serving in three different Central Asian countries. In that time they’ve worked to see local churches planted and strengthened among minority Muslim people groups everywhere they’ve gone.

Sam Martyn* and his family spent nearly a decade partnering with an indigenous church and helping plant several others in Central Asia. They now serve at an international church they helped establish in Europe where they also oversee church planting teams working among Central Asians around the world. Sam holds a PhD from Southeastern Seminary.
